We were a party of 8 eating out for mother's day. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. 5 of us had the 2 course mother's Day meal, the starters were very tasty and very good sizes and there was a mixture from prawn cocktail, goats cheese tart and pate. The carvery was tasty, extremely good portions of meat only downside was the cauliflower cheese was finished. Only one adult had a pudding and when it arrived it was served with custard which wasn't mentioned however it was dealt with no problems and returned quickly with ice cream instead which my mum was very happy about. One adult had soup and a burger which looked great and they agreed it was very tasty. My two boys had the kids meals which they both enjoyed. We all had a lovely mother's Day meal here and can highly recommend
Really disappointed.. waited 35minutes for starters. Then another 15 minutes for main..Chef can not make poached eggs. Said had to make them twice and when we got them were both hard .. was really looking for ward to it but was very disappointing
We have been using The Monifieth Farm for over a year. And once or twice we have had a hiccup with meals. But overall the service and staff are very good. We use to attend there weekly to the extent they even reserved our table for us. Which was never requested but much appreciated as attention to customers is paramount in any business.And even when we haven't attended for a few weeks a friendly call from a member of staff to find out if we were all ok was another notch for them. Food is always well presented and hot and buffet selections are very good aswell. So really if you want a quiet friendly place for you, partner and kids I can recommend The Monifieth Farm
